The new sliding seatpost slides more smoothly, has a larger range of tilt adjustment and has built-in compatibility for Cr-Mo, Ti and carbon rails saddles. The saddle carriage also has a quick release feature which allows the saddle to slide off easily for more compact storage when traveling. Saddle installation with this new version is also much easier.
The seatpost tube is Grade 9 titanium and the rail base is CNC machined from Grade 5 titanium and robotically welded. The rail and related components are anodized aluminum and stainless steel.
